In fact, Iran relayed through their media news agency that 17 other Greek tankers were in the Gulf waters and could be seized if “Greece continued its games”, in reference to the seizure by Greek authorities of a Russian-flagged tanker which was allegedly carrying sanctioned Iranian crude oil.

One can only imagine the stress and hardship that both seized ships’ crews are going through whilst these exchanges are ongoing, and the only hope is that they can safely return to their normal daily life soon.
